Umpire Send Off Card - WHITE

$2.20 AUD

The white card is used to recognize fair play. There are no benefits or demerits of receiving a white card but it is a tool which is simply used to 'improve ethical value in the sport'. It can be shown to a player, a member of the coaching or medical staff of both teams.

Based on an initiative introduced by AFL Queensland in 2022.

Phase 1 (warning) – white card presented to offending club’s coaching box.

Phase 2 (second warning) – white card presented to offending club’s coaching box. Free kick and 25m penalty paid to opposition.

Phase 3 (dismissal) – coach from offending club will be removed from the game with no further participation allowed for the remainder of the match. Free kick and 25m penalty paid to opposition.

The White Card will only be issued to the offending team’s coaching box.

Supporters and club officials, in other areas of the ground, will not be issues with a White Card but are still required to abide by the code and conduct for spectators.
