Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - June 21, 2018: The Shane Warne PROJECT (SW23) announced today a global initiative to revolutionise the sporting apparel landscape. SW23 will offer a range of innovative cricket designs and fabrics offering a significant point of difference, while retaining major elements of style and comfort.
As the world’s greatest spin bowler, and one of the game’s elite thinkers, Shane has worked hard to introduce innovative elements to the new SW23 range he believes are imperative for performing at your best. Shane states, ‘I wanted 100% input into the design and specification of all garments, something I thoroughly enjoyed. My goal for SW23 from the beginning was to bring three things; innovation, quality and comfort.’
Utilising Shane’s expertise, SW23 has introduced exciting innovations to the world of cricket apparel. This includes never before seen cuts and styles, and the adoption of new technical fabrics to help with ventilation and sun protection, all contributing to greater performance and comfort.
Significantly, local cricket clubs are the immediate priority for SW23. The SW23 in-house design department will professionally design club kits (one or two day) with team and sponsor logos, club colours, names and numbers, all included in the packaged cost for clubs.
SW23 has partnered with PROJECT Clothing, a company based in Melbourne specialising in customised technical team wear, and is the engine behind the new range.
